Grand Baie Solar underwater walk
Underseawalk Ltd
Spend longer beneath the surface on a focused outing with Underseawalk Ltd.
- 25-minute walk, 90-minute outing
- Helmet and dive equipment included
- Meet in Grand Baie, hotel transfers excluded

A boat carries you away from the beach, then a ladder leads into the lagoon. An undersea walk in Grand Baie lets the northern coast become more than a view, with a focused Solar outing or a beach day that continues after you return ashore.
The Solar walk gives you more time underwater. The private-taxi beach day pairs a shorter sea walk with visits to up to four northern beaches and a return to your hotel.
Choose between a focused outing you reach independently and a day with private transport.
These are different commitments of time. The focused Solar experience describes 25 minutes underwater. The northern beach day includes approximately 10–12 minutes beneath the surface, with private transport and beach visits around it.

Bonjour Mauritius
Keep the water at the centre of your day, with a private taxi between the sea walk and northern beaches.

The Solar Powered Underwater Adventure Walk is our recommendation when the walk itself is your priority. Its 25-minute underwater session leaves time to settle into the unusual sensation of moving on foot beneath the lagoon.
Underseawalk Ltd supplies the equipment and explains the communication methods before you descend. An underwater guide and safety divers accompany the experience, and the outing takes around 90 minutes from start to finish.
You make your own way to the Grand Baie meeting point. That keeps the booking focused on the walk, so it suits visitors who want to plan their own journey and spend the remainder of the day independently.
On the sandy seabed, you are inside the lagoon, with fish moving through the water around the walk. Follow your guide and take in this close view of Grand Baie’s underwater world.
Book NowThe Solar outing begins with a transfer boat from the beach to the platform. Before the ladder descent, the team explains the procedures and underwater communication, turning an unfamiliar activity into a sequence you can follow.
The stainless steel helmet rests on your shoulders and receives a continuous flow of air. Its viewing ports keep your outlook clear, and the operator allows glasses or contact lenses beneath it. Underwater shoes are offered on board if required. Ask the operator about a wetsuit if you need one, as guests have reported that availability can vary.
A guide and safety divers stay in the water throughout the walk. When it ends, you return up the ladder and travel ashore, where the reception kiosk provides a dive certificate. Optional video is a separate decision, after the experience itself.
For the Solar Powered Underwater Adventure Walk, meet at Kiosk B13 next to Banana Beach Club in Grand Baie.
The transfer boat takes you from the beach to the offshore platform and brings you back afterwards. Hotel transfers are not included.
